Experienced employment and industrial relations lawyer

About Me

I grew up in the southern suburbs of Sydney and graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Theatre Performance (with Distinction) in 2005.

I have a passion for theatre, music and dance but was relatively confident I did not have sufficient talent to pursue a career along those lines, so made sure I had a back up by studying law.

I was admitted to legal practice in NSW in 2006 and since admission have worked exclusively in the industrial relations arena. As a result, I have developed  solid legal, strategic and analytical skills in relation to all aspects of employment and industrial relations law.

In 2007 I relocated to Brisbane and am now firmly settled here.

I am a very active member of the legal profession and contribute significantly to education and debate in the area of employment and industrial relations law. I also hold positions on a number of industry committees which puts me at the forefront of legal developments in my areas of practice.

If asked, I think my clients and colleagues would describe me as personable, enthusiastic, highly practical, client focused and commercially minded.

I was pleased to be acknowledged by my peers as a leading lawyer in the area of Labour and Employment Law through my inclusion in the Best Lawyers Australia List in 2015 and 2016.
